I'm curious. Why Camus over Dègel? I've always wanted to know that from Aquarius fans. To be honest, I'm the other way around, mostly because I find Dègel to be a little more personable and relate-able (easier to approach). Granted, they're both aloof and quiet. Perhaps a Camus-Gaiden would change my mind, lol.

Hello there Celyddon, by looking at your avatar I get an impression that you're one of Aquarius Dègel fans. Nice to meet you!

Concerning Dègel, I agree to everyone loving and adoring him that he is more personable, adorable, relate-able, or even cuddly :XD:

I even support Dègel X Seraphina pairing ;)

About the reason why I put Camus over Dègel because Camus is stricter and more manly than Dègel. I'm sorry, my comment about Dègel perhaps will offend some of his fans but I LOVE and ADORE Dègel too. I think he is a gentleman and a knight in shining armor. He dares to sacrifice his life for the sake of others and he is a warm hearted knight who does not hesitate to express his love to the one he cares of. :)

However, I think Camus is better than him because he is a focused person and one who can change his weakness into power. He is strict and anti social but manly and protective (only to Athena and Hyoga)in the same time because he knows what his responsibility are. For a few fans the attitudes are boring or perhaps they think Camus' attitudes I mentioned are his weaknesses but I think his strictness, his anti-social, his manliness and his protectiveness are his power. ;)

Camus-Gaiden? Well, let's hope Masami Kurumada wants to consider a Camus gaiden for Camus' fans! :)

I am an Aquarius fan, lol--I like both Degel and Camus (though I like Degel better, obviously). No worries--I know that there are plenty of fans who like Camus better. I find Degel not necessarily "un-manly", but perhaps "boyish" is a better word. In a way, he seems more naive and immature than Camus, but I kind of like that. These guys are, after all, still very young men (heck, Camus can't even drink yet in the States!) Camus is definitely "manly", or at least, a more fatherly figure than Degel. (Though if you ask some fans, they will say that Camus physically more resembles a girl, mostly because of the whole androgynous Ganymede thing...)

I wouldn't mind if Teshirogi did a Camus Gaiden. I'm not picky. For now, I'm in love with the Degel Gaiden! I want to cosplay them both. Eventually.
